"the chance to chill, to spend time with those you love"

Over the years I have stayed in many B&Bs and nice hotels but personally Martin and I feel it's never quite the same as being away in our touring caravan..... surrounded by your own bits and pieces and yet able to explore new areas. You simply can't beat it!

If the weather is a little wet then I love to simply snuggle down under a blanket with a hot chocolate, a good book and the sound of the rain on the caravan roof. When the sun shines there's so much to discover using the comforts of your caravan as your base. You can enjoy the chance to chill, to talk, to listen, to laugh, to spend time with those you love, with your own feeling of space and belonging around you.

There are no static caravans for hire at Newberry Valley though we do have two fabulous glamping units available on site which are especially great for friends who don't have a 'bring your own' option.

You'll find that our proximity to the village means it's easy to leave the car on site and wander down to the beach and village, or you can head out for a wonderful day of discovery and memory making!

A Beautiful Place

There's 110 pitches nestled amidst sixty acres of green fields, open between March and October. The sheltered valley heads up and away from the road towards the ancient woodland and meadow, so instead of traffic noise you can relax to the traditional sounds of the countryside.

Situated less than five minutes walk from the two beaches of Combe Martin bay and the pubs, shops and cafes of this quaint coastal village, you've got all that you need for a wonderfully relaxing caravanning holiday close to the site.

Luxurious Facilities

Even though you may have your own washing and toilet facilities in your caravan, you may well be tempted to use our amenity block. People genuinely rave about our modern luxurious shower & toilet facilities, in fact, some have likened them to the facilities of a five star hotel!

The whole main block has under-floor heating and you'll find individual spacious rooms with proper showers so that you can control the water temperature yourself. I love a bath when I'm away so we've installed a coin-operated bath and there's also laundry machines too!

A Warm Welcome

You'll find a peaceful and sociable atmosphere where the friendliness, professionalism and helpful attitude of the staff and the attention to detail in all areas on the caravan park are constantly being addressed to ensure that you leave the site looking forward to your next visit.

Whether you are on your own, a couple looking for a few days of quality time together or the whole family in your caravan , we have pitches to suit all sizes and budgets.

Kids Love Caravanning!

Children of all ages love caravan holidays -  they relish the freedom of the outdoors and the chance to explore their surroundings. Most children delight in being close and connected to nature, and the excitement of snuggling down in their cosy sleeping bag with the great outdoors just above the skylight fills them with wonder and boosts their imagination.

There's so much for children to discover at Newberry Valley. I think you'll find the caring community environment which we encourage enables children to develop independence and a sense of freedom. Many children who stay on site thrive on being given responsibiliies such as helping with the washing up, disposing of the rubbish or popping to the shop for bread and milk.

A caravanning holiday at Newberry Valley will also provide a great opportunity for children to develop their social skills... the friendly environment helps them to learn how to interact with others and make new friends. They can even bring their bikes too and you can watch them grow in confidence and self-esteem throughout their stay here.

Of course caravanning is not all work and no play... far from it! There are many hours of no-cost entertainment and laughter with traditional fun activities such as storytelling, nature scavenger hunts, and even I-Spy as well as the children's playpark.

Whilst all the staff at Newberry Valley will do their utmost to help you enjoy a great family caravanning holiday, unfortunately we can't promise that your kids won't be awake bright and early the next morning ready for another fun-filled day!

Perfect for dogs too

We love dogs and we know how important they are to you too. As dog owners ourselves, we understand that you would want them to share happy caravanning holidays with you so we aim to offer a great caravanning experience for you and your dogs.

Whilst dogs can't be left unattended here on the caravan park, it's a bonus that there are a number of dog-friendly pubs and attractions near-by so you can enjoy a day out with family or a nice pub meal in the evening with the dog by your side.

Of course we ask all dog owners to be responsible and to clean up after their dogs at all times and children taking the  dog for a walk on-site must be accompanied by an adult who can control the dog fully and is willing to clean up any mess. This ensures that everyone on site can thoroughly enjoy their holiday without any problems.

Although we ask that your dogs remain on leads at all times whilst on site, you and they can enjoy a lovely walk in the woods or around the meadow... both are filled with the scents and sounds of wildlife to stimulate their senses. And it's only five minutes walk from the park entrance and you are down on Newberry Beach where your dog can roam off-lead and enjoy the fun of the sand, rocks and waves.
