Leisure & Pleasure is Just What You Need

On Newberry Valley Park you can spend hours just watching the buzzards overhead, the ducks, dragonflies and butterflies visiting the lake, and the red deer and rabbits in the woodland and grounds of the park. Like many of our guests, you could even capture the natural beauty of the place on film or canvas.

The beautiful fishing lake on site provides a truly inspiring and relaxing experience for all ages. You might be lucky enough to meet some of the Rescue Ducks that make Newberry Valley their home each year, after being nurtured back to health by the hard-working volunteers of the North Devon Animal Ambulance.

Enjoy the sheer pleasure of exploring the woodland walk, which takes youalong the ancient Salt Lane through deciduous woodland – you will find it brimming with animals and plants, and full of fresh Devon air!

And of course it is so easy - just a few minutes walk and you are on the beach too.

And for the Children...

There is plenty to keep them occupied for hours at Newberry Valley, especially If you like your children to get pleasure from the simplicity of nature and discovery.

There is a play area and ample space around the park for them to expend all their energy and stimulate their wild and exciting imaginations, so that they are worn out at the end of the day and ready for a good night's sleep.
