From David Bellamy, received in November 2009:
"First let me say congratulations again on your Gold Award. I am delighted with your progress and it's obvious you've been busy over the last year - with your meadows and woodland, it has to be a gold!"
Newberry Valley is becoming accustomed to winning the Gold David Bellamy Award for Wildlife and Conservation - we have acheived this status since 2007.

Eco-friendly camping
If care of the environment and sustainable practices are important to you then you'll be glad you chose Newberry Valley touring and camping park.
We work hard to protect the many species of the park and surrounding area, reuse or recycle where possible, and focus on efficient use of resources.
The newly refurbished amenity block under-floor heating and hot water are heated using a state-of-the-art eco-system which utilises natural resources and solar power. IN addition we buy environmentally-friendly cleaning products for the site.
But it's not just down to us - your involvement and support is essential. Here's how you can help
Wonderful wildlife!
You'll find such a range of biodiversity on site, with sheep on the surrounding fields, rabbits enjoying the fresh green grass, buzzards soaring in the sky above and you may be lucky enough to see the deer, pheasants, moorhens and bats too.
So if you fancy an eco-friendly camping or caravanning holiday you need look no further!
"I feel I must write to thank you: the standard of the campsite was fantastic and I could tell that you all worked tirelessly to ensure this high standard was maintained."
