Leave your worries and concerns behind and enjoy some fresh Devon air and quality time to relax and recharge. Wake to the delightful sounds of the birds as they sing their morning chorus and the delicious smell of a sizzling fry-up cooked on the camp stove that gets your mouth watering in anticipation for that first bite. Newberry Valley provides the ideal environment where you can unplug from the buzz and chaos of everyday life, returning to a slow and peaceful existence where you can talk, listen and laugh with those you love, or simply find a comfy spot in the sun with a good book, a glass of wine and your imagination.
There are 110 pitches spaciously laid out pitches in this sheltered valley of green fields, open between March 15th and October 26th. The site heads up and away from the road towards the ancient woodland and meadow, so instead of traffic noise you can relax to the traditional sounds of the countryside and watch our chickens and alpacas go about their day. However situated less than five minutes walk from the two beaches of Combe Martin bay and the pubs, shops and cafes of this quaint coastal village, you've got all that you need for a wonderful holiday with plenty to explore for all ages.
The meadow and the old oak woods offer a magical playground for children and adults alike, and then there's the fenced play park too. Newberry Valley provides a perfect environment for your children to make many happy memories. Children who spend time in nature are more likely to be creative and confident, and also develop a greater respect for and value of the natural world.
Camping and caravanning can help to develop independence, a sense of freedom, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities such as helping with the washing up or popping to the shop for bread and milk.
At Newberry Valley the friendly environment encourages interaction to make new friends - it's wonderful to see your children grow in confidence during their stay with us. Bikes are permitted as well as plenty of wild imagination and playful innocence.
There are lots of reasons why you'll enjoy a camping holiday at Newberry Valley - the under-floor heated main facilities block, the generous sized pitches, the friendly, peaceful ambience, the great location.
But don't just take it from us, here just a couple of comments from guests.....
Sharon Lima says "Just returned from a fabulous few days staying at this campsite. Can’t wait to return for a longer stay. Excellent site, well maintained and shower/ toilet block are second to none - outstanding. I fully recommend this site."
Olie Roell says "We have to say... what an amazing site, very clean and tidy, staff are very friendly and very welcoming, toilet and shower block very clean you can almost eat off the floor. Highly recommended."
We know how important your dogs are to you. As dog owners ourselves, we understand that you would want them to share happy holidays with you. They can't be left unattended on the campsite, however, there are a number of dog-friendly pubs and attractions near-by so you can enjoy a day out or a nice pub meal in the evening with the dog by your side.
We ask all dog owners to be responsible and to clean up after their dogs at all times and children taking the dog for a walk on-site must be accompanied by an adult who can control the dog fully and is willing to clean up any mess.
Your dogs must remain on leads at all times while on the site, including in the woods and meadow however there is a fenced dog field where they can be off lead and the near-by Newberry Beach permits your dog to roam off-lead and enjoy the fun of the pebbles and waves.
"This site is a little gem. The staff can't do enough to help you and are so friendly."Katrina Banner recommends us on UK Campsite
